Society Membership

Your membership in the Urban Philharmonic Society gives Washington DC access to quality music. The membership fees help us pay for performances, scholarships and basic operating costs. As we celebrate our 30th year, we ask you to help us expand the vision of the Urban Philharmonic Society in the coming years. Help us bring jazz and classical music to the under served communities of Washington DC, Baltimore and Harlem. Your membership support makes all the difference.

Virtual Membership (no cost)

• Receive an e-mail newsletter with updates on music events.

Student Membership ($10/year)

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• Receive an invitation to any Open Rehearsals.
• Attend any talks with the music Conductor.
• Help Urban Philharmonic Society bring music, scholarships and performances to the Washington DC area this season.

Individual Membership ($20/year)

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• Receive first notice of tickets for each event.
• Receive first notice of Urban Philharmonic Society Social special events.

Family Membership ($40/year)

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• • Up to five (5) family members will receive the same benefits as an individual.

Gift Membership ($10 or $20 per year)

• Annual Gift Memberships in the Society available for Students and Individuals.

Virtual Member (No Cost)

Enter your email online, and you will receive periodic E-newsletter with updates on the Urban Philharmonic Society, performances, receptions, conductor talks, and other news relating to the Urban Philharmonic or music news in general.

Student Membership ($10/year)

• Receive periodic E-newsletter with updates on the Urban Philharmonic Society, performances, receptions, conductor talks, and other news relating to the Urban Philharmonic or music news in general.
• Receive an invitation to any Open Rehearsals. During a rehearsal you can observe the interactions of conductor, musicians, and listen to the music.
• Attend any talks with the conductor. When they occur, they usually take place 1/2 hour before the performance begins.
• Help Urban Philharmonic Society bring music, scholarships and performances to the Washington DC area this season.

Individual Membership ($20/year)

• Receive periodic E-newsletter with updates on the Urban Philharmonic Society, performances, receptions, conductor talks, and other news relating to the Urban Philharmonic or music news in general.
• Receive the first notice of tickets for each event. You will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they are made public.
• You will receive first notice of all Philharmonic Society Social special events (galas, receptions, talks).
• Receive an invitation to any Open Rehearsals. During a rehearsal you can observe the interactions of conductor, musicians, and listen to the music
• Attend any talks with the conductor—usually 1/2 hour before the performance begins
• Help Urban Philharmonic Society bring music, scholarships and performances to the Washington DC area this season.
  

Family Membership ($40/year)

You may enter up to five (5) email addresses of family members and they will receive all the benefits of individual members:

• They will receive periodic E-newsletter with updates on the Urban Philharmonic Society, performances, receptions, conductor talks, and other news relating to the Urban Philharmonic or music news in general.
• They will also receive first notice of tickets—opportunity to purchase tickets before they are made public.
• They will also receive an invitation to any Open Rehearsal(s). During a rehearsal you can observe the interactions of conductor, musicians, and listen to the music.
• And your family may attend any talks with the conductor—usually 1/2 hour before the performance begins.
• Help Urban Philharmonic Society bring music, scholarships and performances to the Washington DC area this season.

Gift Membership ($10, $20)

• Available for Students and Individuals. They have the same benefits and costs as Student and Individual memberships described above. You simply make the purchase a Gift membership and fill out the contact information. The receiver of the membership will receive an email telling them that you have given them a membership. Great idea for the holiday season, graduations, housewarming, birthdays, anniversaries and more.
